I can't believe people think the guy maintaining the blog is Kip. Why would someone create a self incriminating website? It seems like a stupid move. You wouldn't do such a thing unless you really wanted to be caught and punished. Kip obviously doesn't want to be caught. If he did, he would have spoken up by now. He has not, and there is much we don't yet know. We don't exactly know how. Even the VC Marathon RD came on and said he couldn't figure out how he cheated. We don't know why he cheats. It's not to be the 1st 50sub3 masters runner. That was done 20 years ago, but Kip is too dumb to find this website -

SOKLR is probably just a fellow runner who has been 'Kipped' a few times, has computer skills, and is interested in maintaining some integrity in the sport of running. This is an interesting story, and I'm very greatful that someone has taken the time to organize all the information.

Some people have actually considered that maybe Kip is just a talented runner. I assure you that this is NOT the case. I believe that I am the champion when it comes to being 'Kipped' the most. I've got over a dozen. 3 races in a single weekend at Gasparilla 3 years in a row, Virginia Beach, St. Louis, Missoula, and Boston. If you go through the results on some of these races and compare mine to his you'd find that he would've passed me late in the race. That never happened. I've never seen this man or anyone resembling him. Thus he's not running the whole race, and he doesn't have a double.

Remember too that either Kip or a few of his buddies (likely Kip himself) went ripshit trying to get the Brojos to take this thread down back in late 2010/early 2011 each time the Kip Litton issue tried to resurrect itself on the WORLD FAMOUS MESSAGE BOARDS (letsrun.com). Luckily after Ouch1000 of Montana contacted ROJO, the thread AND ONLY 1 thread was allowed to continue.

Who first discovered this guy? He cheats running 18 min 5k's and 3 hour marathons. Who gives a crap? And who first noticed this? Doesn't make sense to me... Seems like a big troll to me. Maybe if he was trying to cheat running 2:15 or something (like I know at least one person on this board has) it might be worth all the attention. Charity runners do this all the time...who cares.

At least the 25 year old kid for Palo Alto HS won Stanford Invite and tried to get into Harvard. This is just some loser who cheats for shit results anyway. If you are going to cheat at least get a good score, this guy is cheating for a D.

1&2) Brian Sell talked to Litton when he was considering dental school. This was confirmed at the Hanson's Lake Orion store which is about 30 min from Davison. I would guess he doesn't shop there too often now.

3) Why does 0bama fly around the world and pretend he is in charge and everyone loves him?

Is it possible that the 5k times are legit? He allegedly did 17:17 in Boston and 17:33 in Gasparilla (with similar 21:xx chip times). Come on, guys, we all know you can't cheat a 5K to such precision! How could he plan it to get his net down to 17:xx twice like this? It is impossible and we all know it.

Maybe the guy really has such 5K speed but is frustrated that he can't get his legit marathon times to line up? 17:30 speed is worth around 2:50 marathon. The guy trains and trains and can't even go sub-3 after many legit attempts. He doesn't want to let down all his admiring friends and family. So he says "fxck it i work so hard and have such awesome speed i need to go 2:50" so he cheats.

Interesting that when most of the sane people who don't have obsessive compulsive disorder about the holy article write something that the bullshit seems to mostly disappear. To the most recent bullshitter - do carry on wasting your time.

A bunch of newbies to Litton-ology seem to be coming to this forum now. You need to go back and read this thread's earlier pages. Much of what is being asked about now was already discovered and discussed last January.

Kip did not run the full course at 2010 BAA 5k. There's no way he ran a 17:17 5k there with a 4:04 chip/gun difference. Check out the race photographer's photo of kip and he's finishing while wearing a light blue windbreaker with people running just under 7min/mile.

And at Gasparilla there's no way he ran 17:33 there on a 3 race day where Kip appeared walking in the photos. Yes, you heard right - WALKING! Talk to GK - he knows all about Kip in Gasparilla Distance Fesitival. Also Kip is still listed on wikipedia as the winner of Gasparilla Distance Festival...there's an asterix there but since wikipedia sucks info from a website that says Kip won it, there's no way to change it.

Here's some help for you, aka a clue.

If he did it locally over and over he would be recognized and people would start adding things up as in seeing him start in the back and then ending up in the front. It's not too hard to figure out Spanky. At least it's not for me. You are over thinking it.

If you were Kip, would you continue to race in and around the same County and raise more red flags after your own relay team knows you've already been caught for cheating and had them dq'ed? I think not.

Believe me, it spread in this area more than you people realize. But....when you go out of state whether it's a big marathon or not, who knows you when you start in the back of the pack and end up near the front and then are gone?

Maybe when this article gets published on Kip, wikipedia will allow a Kip Litton entry linking it to the facts published online. So far the facts - disqualified at 8 races over the USA (stretching from Montana to Delaware), with 3 of them in his home state of Michigan. Suspected of cutting course short (whether accidental or intentional, likely intentional) in many others...

Has Kip raced on the West Coast yet? I think he's trying to get Minnesota and/or Wisconsin done next, then maybe race Boston, and then head somewhere where he can do those. But actually, Kip hasn't really raced since December 2010 at Charlotte, which was just before LetsRun buried his ass (January 2011).

I heard rumored that Kip will be trying to set the world record for being DQ'd in 50 states in 50 days ;-)

Hi Kip, while you're waiting for that breakthrough, any chance of answering my question about why you think the Delaware Marathon Race Director DQd you and why you didn't contest what he said?
