The problem the moderators have is when it becomes impossible in practice to differentiate between the cheats, the trolls and the honest and sincere. Repetitive blanket copy and pasting of content is one behaviour that makes this difficult regardless of how convinced you are that this is helping.

Fundamentally however when we ignore all the dross this thread has done the following

Exposed a bogus attempt on the Land's End To John O'Groats record

Led to the DQ of Dave's Bournmouth Marathon result that had implausible splits

Highlighted other dubious results

Has forced London to re-examine a highly dodgy London Marathon result which was claimed as over an hour faster and the pictures show no timing chip was being worn and to quote London themselves "No Chip, no Time"

Joe the Driver explained that the implausible training runs were not actually ran at all

If *I* can tell the difference i'm sure they can. But they are far to stupid and love to defend cheats.

Look at what they have just done with Plagmann. The person who outed him was right. Did they get an apology from Wejo? No. They got a blanket ban from the entire forum for doing nothing wrong. They are cowards and don't like looking like they are in the wrong. Which they are. Just like they are wrong to defend Terrie.

They even got trolled by Plagmann himself and just allowed it! Banned him and he just came back and continued abusing them!

So the innocent person who outed him got treated the same as him.

That's like expelling the victim of bullying in a school, but letting the bully stay if they just change their name. I have zero respect for these people.

They allow some horrific things on here, yet punish the innocent.

Relax, buddy. Spamming the forum with rapid-fire posts is irritating for all. I'm on the side of the brojos if all they're doing is banning the idiots who flood the discussion and make it unreadable.

Look at this thread: it's become a cesspool of reposts and lengthy quotes that impede the discussion and prevent any further organized action against the Readings. Yes, they're likely sitting at home reporting posts enough times to get them auto-deleted. The spamming that's gone on in response has not made the situation any better, however.

Some people give the impression with this behaviour that they are mentally ill which again gives aid and comfort to the cheats.

No, not talking about whoever keeps repeat posting things in quotes on here. (I assume that was done in frustration at Terrie keeping on getting everything deleted)

Actually, I think the re posting DID stop Terrie reporting things - think she gave up!

I'm talking about the latest cheat thread. The cheat is free to post and troll, and the person that exposed them that broke no rules and proved he cheated has a blanket ban here. The owners of this site defend cheats like Robert Plagmann and Terrie Reading

It is nice to see a more measured tone on this thread.

Now, back to the matter in hand. Scam watcher - are you there? Please give us news on vlm and the other things you have been pursuing. Oh, and can you make your investigation and evidence public again please? It's a useful source of information and having it available outside this thread will become important if the chaos returns. Please come back.

Unless there's any progress on the London Marathon DQ based on not wearing a chip, boasting of a 3:12, one photo around mile 9 (who's to say he didn't jump in and/or out of the course as there's no other photos until around the finish), etc, then this thread will have to wait until the JOGLE next year to get going again.

At least he's been outed and shown to lie and cheat on lots of things and they haven't come up with the much talked about proof and evidence for anything. Also, it's put an end to his scamming and no one will have anything to do with him now, including charities, and he'll be getting very carefully watched in the future. Well done all.

Why not make a load of excuses for him, like you did for Robert Plagmann. After all, because Plagmann planned to get into coaching you pretty much condoned his cheating. You said because of his planned change of lifestyle it was okay, and said you wanted to hear from him. You'd heard from him for two days - he was trolling you on the threads about him. The ones where you were sucking up to Wejo. You should know by now that sucking up to the forum owners gets you nowhere. They are lazy and corrupt and defend cheats like Terrie and Plagmann.

Reading planned to change his lifestyle from forces to unemployed charity walker, so cheating is okay, right?

It was going to be all from me folks.

I'm still here and I've been monitoring the thread. I wasn't actually as mad at Wejo as I appeared. I had decided to put all those post deletions to good use by offering Dave, Terrie, and Paul Fawcett a deal of me turning evil in exchange for being entertained. Alas, my offer was not accepted. I've attached it below, hopefully the mods will have a sense of humor.

Why did I include Paul Fawcett? Paul was listed as a team member for the LEJOG2017 and is also now listed on the DaveReading.co.uk website for their 2018 run/bike scam. Thinking that Paul was innocent, I sent him an email to warn him about his picture and name being used for the new run/bike scam in addition to a previous email several weeks back asking him about the previous LEJOG2017 scam. Paul did not reply to either email.

Well, an hour after I sent that warning email to Paul, Terrie came and posted in this thread that "Paul is aware, ha ha ha". This indicated Paul had shared my warning emails to Terrie and is actively communicating with her about the scams and his probability of involvement is very, very high. And Paul Fawcett is the "coach" that actually "trained" Dave Reading for the LEJOG2017.

For the London Marathon, Hugh has still not gotten back to me with the result of his investigation, shockingly. And I am not the only one actively asking him. I will try again to see what is the status. I think this is what we are all here waiting for before taking a rest.

For my investigation files, I will create a new Google Drive folder with additional files I can share. Shouldn't take long.

I have newer pieces of evidence than what I have publicly discussed but some of that will never be released to respect confidentiality. Other pieces I am not ready to share at this time. From the evidence I have, one thing I can say is that one organization has repeatedly lied to me about their involvement with the LEJOG2017.

Hugh replied to my email asking about the London Marathon investigation just now and he says, "My investigation is ongoing."

I suspect that the delay is caused by VLM needing to give 'the Readings' an appropriate amount of time to respond to the allegations / questions.

I wonder what their response will be.."The chip fell off so I put it in my pocket" or something similar?
