Russia supported Trump for multiple reasons. Sanctions, first and foremost. There is a ton of oil that is not getting drilled due to sanctions. They have kompromat on Trump and he won't go against Russia in any significant way. Trump is in Putin's pocket and has been for years. It's obvious. Clinton would have been horrible for Putin and the oligarchs.

Russia has definitely pushed both sides... far-right and far-left. Horseshoe effect of politics. They've created division and chaos.

Regarding Sanders and Stein, I do think both will end up in legal trouble when it's all said and done. We know Stein visited Putin at the same time Flynn did. Her calls for recounts were all part of the game to create more discord. Sanders was one of just two senators to vote against sanctions. He riled against HRC for her 'unfair' advantage from the DNC,which was likely true, but he never once brought up Russian bots trolling on his behalf, even though he's admitted now that it happened.

I trust Mueller's net will be wide and justice will be served where needed.

Concord Management and Consulting LLC, a Russian-based company accused of producing propaganda, posing as American political activists and meddling in the 2016 US presidential elections via social media content, pleaded 'not guilty' to all charges on Wednesday. The company is controlled by Russian businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin, AKA 'Putin's chef,' (Concord Management reportedly provides catering services to the Kremlin) whose two companies have been indicted in the US for interfering in the American political process.

Twelve other Russian citizens have also been indicted in the case; all of the accused are subject to US sanctions. The next hearing in the case is scheduled to take place on May 16.

US Congress has released more than 3,000 Facebook ads purchased by a pro-Kremlin, so-called troll factory the Internet Research Agency.

Previously the House Intelligence Committee had only released about 50.

Usefully, the panel includes information on who the ad was targeted at, and how much engagement it received, in terms of impressions and clicks. Not all views and clicks are by humans, remember.

Many ads were not politically related, and the ads consistently highlight black and LGBT civil rights issues.

"Many of the Internet Research Agency ads include grammatical and spelling errors, and some have no discernible political purpose," the paper reports. "In June 2015, the page 'L for life' bought an ad targeting people interested in 'landscape painting or landscape.' The ad featured a photo of a city with a mountain in the backdrop and read: 'Such a beautiful day! Such a beatiful (sic) view!'"

The giveaway in the political ads is the stilted English:

This anti-Sanders ad received 11 impressions and zero clicks. This anti-Clinton ad received 61 impressions and 10 clicks. No wonder HRC beat him, she is 50+10 times more popular with Russian trolls!
