Bunnage declared for 5000 and 3000 so no dmr for her
Not necessarily.
"A" for Accepted entry does not mean "D" for Declared.
JJ entered everyone he could including W&W in the 800.
But doesn't mean they will actually race that event come race day.
My interpretation is the same as yours, namely, all will run their individual events, leaving the DMR for the "B" team which could consist of Dudek, Everett, Flynn replacing W&W&Bunnage -- as Stanford did last year. Which, is actually a nice gesture on JJ's part, giving athletes who never had a chance to qualify in their individual events an opportunity to race NCAAs. Of course, the downside is, the likelihood of even scoring 1 point in 8th place is practically nil.
However, it could also mean the latter three could all DNS their individual races, instead toeing the line for the DMR.
Frankly, I don't like the idea of the latter happening, as that would mean someone who was next-in-line on the Declarations list should be racing as the 16th/final "A" -- but won't get the chance.
But again, yeah, after all the mental gymnastics re: Stanford's DMR 400 leg, looks like it won't matter.
