Meb 11 seconds back. My money is on the wheels coming off for Maiyo. Can Meb catch Chariot (Cheyruyoit, or whatever).

According to Carol Lewis, women's last three miles (in reverse order) 5:19, 5:38, 5:36. Still three women 2:05 into the race with less than four to go.
Men 30K:
Maiyo is reaching back to Cheruiyot, asking him to share the pace. Cheruiyot, looking very relaxed, wants nothing of it. Meb is 13 seconds back. Cheruiyot is the "tall Kenyan" at 6' 2". He has a marathon best of 2;08:59, and won Boston in 2003 in 2:10:11. He was fifth last year in 2:14:30. He knows how to run the course. He has also twice run a half marathon in sub-60 minutes
wbz radio says Meb is "nowhere to be seen as he has dropped off considerably"

They are on 2:05:54 pace just off the splits, but JK is saying they'll finish in 2:07 (unofficially he says 2:07:45).

Chariot surging away from Maiyo. This may be good for Meb, as he can try to reel in Maiyo. Meb seems to struggle moving up on people late in Marathon's though.
