It's such a no-brainer... We already do this! All we need to do is bring everyone into the fold.

In the past, 61% to 98% of cases diagnosed with gender identity disorder/gender dysphoria in early childhood reconciled their gender identity with their birth sex through the natural course of puberty, if not earlier. Many of these children simply grew up to be gay or lesbian adults. Traditionally “feminine” boys were far more likely to grow up to be gay men rather than transgender women, and the same was true for gender-nonconforming girls.

According to the anti-trans ideology, this is injustice to all boys who finished behind the trans boy. That's why they pass legislations to ban trans boys from boys' sports.

But trans boys are not welcome in girls sports, either. Remember Mack Beggs? He was lambasted for competing in the category of his sex assigned at birth. So should trans boys like him be allowed to compete in any division?

Since you haven't got the message yet, I will repeat for the umpteenth time. Gender non-conforming expression those kids show is a sign of their gender incongruence, not its evidence. When kids show those expressions, there is a reason to think they might have gender dysphoria. But no credible psychiatrist determine that based on those expressions alone.

It's not our fault that Texas is stupid. Trans boys who are taking testosterone should compete against the boys. This is completely obvious to everyone except the lawmakers in Texas who created this situation.

Enforcement should be quite easy, actually. If a kid is enrolled as a boy from grade K through 7, and then suddenly shows up as a girl in 8th grade, that kid should not compete in girl's sports. Also, you don't need a genital inspection to know that this kid in Maine is a boy, and the same goes for most (all?) of these high profile cases.

"Assigned media" has never claimed to be a science journal. So why don't you address the actual points made by the article instead of attacking the messenger?

I called the review article as "junk science" because it propagates the nonsense of how trans girls grow up to be gay men and trans boys grow up to be lesbians.

We have been told how trans women are sexual predators and they will attack women in public restrooms because they are sexually attracted to women. So they were not trans girls who grew up to be gay men, right? Where were those sexual predators when they were minors?

But you don't know how many "low profile" cases exist out there, because those trans girls who are finishing in the middle of the pack cannot be identified by "eyeball tests."

Those now-supplanted regulations applied solely athletes to competing in women's elite track & field with male DNA, testes, male levels of T and male androgen receptors in good working order like Caster Semenya - not to any female athletes.

By that logic, we should all just stop following running, never visit Letsrun.com message boards ever again, and just focus on the ‘real problems’ of the world. No thanks. Sports are important - if for no other reason that they are a better battlefield than ‘real life’…. Wouldn’t it be nice if Israel and Palestine could just settle their differences over a foot race?

I'm not advocating that kids get dna tests but the who genital inspection thing is annoying hyperbole. It doesn't happen. Sex can be determined via cheek swab.
