So everybody who showed up and was not disqualified in heat 2 makes it to final. ok.
The 5000m was very slow and bunched up. Tuohy was worried about getting boxed in and stayed on the outside on lane 1 until she made her move. Also because it was so crowded there was contact going on until the Alabama crew cleaned it up and Tuohy went with them.

It was too close in time to the 5000m for Tuohy to run the DMR. And really it worked out very well for NCSt. They came in top 8, which gets first team AA status if I remember correctly.

Because there was a lot of speculation as to whether Tuohy would run the DMR. You are free to talk about something else. I don't think UW started their A team.
Thought Sumner was out of it after he got jostled and fell back. Really good composure for a freshman to get back in it and kick down to third like that. If he can stay out of trouble tomorrow I think he can definetly win.

he made it harder than he needed to. Let himself get boxed in early. Good for him to qualify. Unless it becomes a time trial I’ll take his kick over anybody else in the field.

They put Markezich on the 1200m leg and she hasn't run a collegiate race under 3000m in her career. She split 3:35 and there was no coming back from that.
