On June 14, 2014; Parvaneh Moayedi organized and "ran" the Elks Flag Day Marathon. In addition, Laurence Macon, was also registered and "ran" in the marathon. You can view the results at

There are a couple of problems:
1. No one remembers Parvaneh actually running. There are photographs of her at the start line for the 8:00 AM start of a 5K/10K. The marathon and half-marathon started at 6:00 AM.
2. Laurence "Larry" Macon was actually at Bear Lake Marathon in Utah on June 14th. There are photographs and race results to prove he was there.
I doubt that Larry knows that Parvaneh is entering times for him. Both of them have "world records" and Parvaneh uses those records for endorsements and convincing people to run in the races she organizes.
If you view the last five races on her website, you'll notice that her and Larry have identical times. She uses Larry's name to enhance the prestige of her events.
Guinness World Recordshas already been notified (if she faked the results from this event, then how does anyone know she doesn't fake the results from all of her own events) and is considering investigating.
If anyone has additional information please respond to this post. For now, I'd like to remain as anonymous as possible.

Stop it. If Kostman had any integrity at all, he would remove her from the finisher list in 2014.
He dropped her because all the negativity was affecting the bottom line and his salary. Nothing else was at play here.
Why does she keep claiming to be first woman to run 1,000 marathons? She is not even formally recognized by any organization or standing record chase. Why does she keep making such claims.

You are absolutely wrong about Larry Macon not knowing that Parvaneh adds results for him. They are involved with cheating together and have been for years. Larry pays Parvaneh and emails her his "time" - ghost times would be more accurate because NO ONE ever witnesses Larry Macon the BIG cHEATER out on a course for the entire time and sometimes NO ONE ever even sees him at all. At one of the next group of races Parvaneh has in San Antonio we're thinking about having "checkers" to get proof of the cheating. Larry Macon is an absolute cheater in San Antonio and at the Charlie races where he does the same thing - pays money and then emails a "time". What kind of race director does that when they know the person is using this information for a Guinness World Record marathon claim? Other big cheaters or people who are paid off. It's all about the money - and btw, Parvaneh claimed she had a secret sponsor at one time who pains for a lot of her expenses at Badwater. Could that be Larry "deep pockets" Macon?

In response to your thinking that Larry Macon is unaware, given that he threatened to sue a poor guy who actually used his real name on this thread, do you seriously think he would hesitate to get a cease and desist order for Parvaneh or anyone else who used his name? You must be partaking of delusional drinks...

I think PM and Larry Macon - both Guinness World Record Holders for marathons has bogus claims. I know Larry Macon constantly cheats and PM backs it up. Obvious that PM needs him to be cheating so she can cheat herself because he is never out on the course with the regular starts. Same thing this weekend - got special start time - who does he think he is!?! And I got another dose of Larry Macon flirting and inane email - doesn't get the hint that not all women are swooning over an old decrepit cheater. In my opinion, Larry Macon is scum for his cheating at marathons and cheating on his wife with lots of women. I would name the names but then I would get sued.
Amen to the Larry Macon cheater saga. I know first hand how much he cheated at marathons because I was with him at many and when I accused him, I got treated like s... from his paid groupies and race directors including Parvaneh. I can also guarantee that he cheats on his wife and can also name names but have to agree with Nokiebear about getting sued. He was chasing me last week like crazy and tried to put his hands on my butt. Several people got a big laugh out of this but it doesn't stop him. Larry Macon's ego is bigger than Montana and he never thinks he'll get caught either cheating at the marathons. His wife doesn't care that he's a cheater because she's got no idea of the volume. Let's start a club for women #LarryMaconcheater conned into being his weekend entertainment and if those he tried to cheat with could join - awesome! I think warning signs at marathons might be needed for the vulnerable women (aka stupid because I've heard he's totally inept in bed) and an issue to all race directors alerting them to this thread.
