I have this theory that Seth actually has a bitter, jealous dislike of Sage and tries to avoid bringing him up. They both get compared a lot due to a few similarities, but Sage is the more accomplished of the two (better running resume, and has a larger youtube channel). Sage is in Chamonix at this very moment getting ready for UTMB.
Sage is a frickin man. Imagine a collab video between the two. Here's a rugged (actual) trail runner, and here's little bird boy with his 15-year-old's haircut. Trail runners are just beefier. Seth is flimsy, that's why he can't descend well. He lacks the strength. He is living in purgatory - not a true road runner, and not a true trail runner.

Hey if you are just starting to run, I wouldn't think too much about weight - that's a sure way to make the whole thing not fun. And who says you have to lose weight while you're training? The goal is a 5k, focus on fun. Leave the weight as an uncontrolled variable.
I suspect you're trolling, but weight stuff is just something I don't f around with. Too many people have trauma around that for good reason.
Crazy to think of how his followers hang onto every word he says. He injured himself because he was training like an idiot and then he tries to advise his followers on how to train. You have other running youtubers running UTMB while Seth is keeping busy policing his youtube channel because he'll get his feelings hurt.
