CORRECT! In fact, Obstruction of Justice doesn't even have to be successful...the attempt itself is Obstruction of Justice...it's not called "Attempted Obstruction of Justice" as in "Attempted Murder".

ALSO, Mueller has now established that there has been a crime committed by Russia. He will eventually tie it all to Trump and/or his campaign (but probably Trump).

If Mueller were to be fired by Trump (without reasonable cause), it would be exactly like what Nixon did, and the result would be the same...it would accelerate the removal of Trump from office.

Trump is nuts.

The most likely thing Russia has on Trump is money laundering and/or other financial crimes.

It is also likely that now they also have the knowledge that either he or members of his campaign, perhaps members of his family, worked with Russia to help him win the election.

It is also not out of the question that they DO have some sort of embarrassing video of him with prostitutes. This could potentially end his marriage and cost him a LOT of money, so of course he wants that hidden too.

They may have video or audio of him agreeing to commit crimes. He's such a rube that they for sure have something on him.

Allan Lichtman predicts that Mueller will release results of his investigation that shock the world (and he means in a bad way for Trump).

There are great number of us who feel our party has left us and who are quite frankly ashamed of trump and very disappointed in our party.

Some of Trump's ideas are good and over due, but this does not negate the fact that trump is a totally incompetent liar.

Tax has been too high and needed major overhauling but it doesn't need to be on a post card. Also our deficit driven tax plan and spending bill is irresponsible.

It's too easy to make smothering government regulations.

The food stamp system has been abused, and is too generous but giving out food boxes is not the answer.

We need greater respect for law enforcement.

Right to bear arms yes but AK15 and similia r weapons should be banned.

We need to protect our borders but also find a way to citizenship for productive illegals. Our laws must befollowed.

But all that said, Trump totally disgusts me. My party has caved in to this idiot. I seriously will not mind if my party gets slapped down hard in the midterms.

Maybe then my party will return to me.

Mueller hasn’t “established” anything whatsoever. He's only made charges. He already knows there will never be an actual trial so he's free to say whatever he wants in this case. It's actually pretty interesting that there was no mention of the Russian government.

You said it yourself... in "that indictment." More to come. Many, many more. There will be very few trials as the evidence will be overwhelming.

Technically the indictment comes from the grand jury, which is to say that evidence has been produced that the grand jury believes justifies the indictment and the case could go to trial if the suspects were to be extradited (they won't be). In that sense Mueller is not "free to say whatever he wants in this case".

I hear you. I voted for Trump and I 'll be the first to say he is a complete dope. The crap he posts makes any educated Republican cringe. He is a slimy politician con man and I would have no problem, if they find something kicking his butt out of office. However, he has been useful. He got us a tax break although it was irresponsible the way it was done. It has brought up issues such as the trade deficit, excessive regulations and his supreme court selection that have been good. But he is done now. We need someone we can respect. Maybe Romney can bring dignity back to our party. Trump is a jerk. I am glad I voted for him but he now needs to go. We don't need a crazy man as president. With Trump the end justifies the means but now trump needs to end. He was useful but no longer is of any value to us. He is truly nuts.

As a hobbyist troll I have little concern as to whether or not I help Russia, I just like to laugh at people getting upset over effective trolling. Liberals have been my main target recently because they are far more prone to meltdowns and outrage than most conservative targets. It did not used to be that way, conservatives were the easiest to get riled up for pretty much all of the Bush and Obama years. For some reason there was a sudden and massive shift and now it is way more fun to troll liberals.

I do wonder if part of the Russian operation is encouraging trolls by playing the role of outraged victims. It does seem conspicuous how upset the online left gets about every little thing now-a-days .

It’s clear Russia had an anti-Hilary bias. That’s why they went for Sanders and Stein. They knew both could hurt Hilary

Unless the Sanders and Stein camps actively sought out Russian help. They are probably sleeping just fine.

The Trump camp also saw the anti Hilary tactics and decided to cooperate with that. Heck we know they had a meeting specifically to get dirt on HRC. We know Trump encourage Russia during the campaign.

As it relates to Department of Justice and the FBI, if they need to be put on trial, we will put them on trial. The reason that Congress exists is to oversee these agencies that we created. DOJ and FBI are not above the law. Congress created them, we oversee them, and we fund them. And if they’re committing abuse for a secret court, getting warrants on American citizens, you’re darn right that we’re going to put them on trial.
