There were quite a few white males who perished in the concentration camps in World War II.

Quite a few white males came to America penniless and worked their way through all sorts of oppression. Every heard of the Boston Brahmin's treatment of the Irish? Ever heard about the Colorado miner's strike, where the owners sent the Pinkertons through the shanty town with machine guns, where they killed every last man, woman and child (most if not all of them caucasian)? Etc., etc., etc. I wouldn't be surprised if your family was on the giving end of such oppression. Are you a business owner? (I think you are) Do you pay your employees well and treat them well?

You know nothing about this, because you obviously have no knowledge of history and have led a privileged, sheltered existence. All sorts of oppression exists: white-on-white, black-on-black, asian-on-asian, women-on-women, gay-on-gay, etc. I've witnessed, and experienced, all sorts in my life. You know absolutely nothing about me, and to make the statement you did only makes you a total fool, a sad clown, and a very ugly human being.

You mentioned plenty of examples yet I still fail to see an instance in which white males were systematically oppressed by minorities or women. You know why? Partially correct. Even today these barriers are really far from invisible(except from people like you). My beliefs about you have been totally confirmed. We'll never agree because you'll never make even the slightest attempt to see beyond your narrow minded lens. Don't worry I'm sure more people will agree with you than me on this board. Try experiencing life outside of your bubble every now and then.

you just cited several instances of non whites oppressing other non whites. Your Shaka Zulu bit is nothing more than a way for you to justify lacking empathy for non whites and attack their credibility. Do I really need to compile a list of the all the historicall instances in which white males have acted far worse? In regards to your first example, have there been any long lasting effects which have negatively impacted white society? Is the Carthaginian and early Muslim white oppression you speak of still effecting Caucasians in any way? Didn't think so.

You conveniently ignored my first two sentences, which are major examples of oppression of caucasians by non-caucasians.

Someone mentioned the Muslim Barbary pirates of the Mediterranean in another thread. Such piracy is certainly systematic and was certainly driven by racism and ethnocentricity.

I didn't ignore your first two sentences. Find me an example of any Caucasian person on planet earth who is still facing setbacks as a result of any kind of supposed white oppression. While for very different reasons, Caucasian women are still oppressed in many forms yet you don't want to admit it.

Further, you have missed the most important point of this thread. SR wasn't being taken to task for being female, that had nothing to do with it. She made a racist, ageist, and yes sexist tweet. But I personally could care less what her gender, age or race is. I would find the statement just as offensive regardless of the gender, age and race of the person tweeting it. If a white male had tweeted it I would be just as offended. You have appointed yourself the "defender of women" in this thread, when there is really no need to have one.

My point is that if she had said old black dudes she would have lost her sponsors immediately even though black men treat women worse than white men.
