if the west stopped supporting israel, then hamas and hexbollah would do what they openly say they want to do; destroy israel and get rid of all the jews.
Of course! Because the Middle East is a human rights paradise when left to their own devices. They always treat their neighbors with love and kindness. No suffering at all.

so you are advocating for genocide of the jews?
not a good look and clearly racist.
If you have been here for a while you would know that newname (but same old poster) does indeed want to get of all the Jews.
So many mistakes in your comment. The fact that a designated terrorist organization such a Hezbollah, funded by Iran by billions, is a political party in Lebanon, is a disgrace to both Lebanon and Iran, and doesn't make this barbaric organization "legitimate" (especially after it killed dozens of Israeli civilians in this war and shot 5000+ rockets at them). And therefore these precise attacks which killed and injured only those who were attached to Hezbollah owned military devices such as pagers, are legal according to the international law of war, rule n.10: "civilian objects are protected against attack, unless and for such time as they are military objectives". And combative pagers and walkie talkies are absolutely military objectives, purchased by Hezbollah.
You seem to think an attack on “Hezbollah armed members” is justified no matter what. Hezbollah is designated by the US as a terrorist organization but they are also a legitimate political party and win a nontrivial number of election seats in Lebanon and have been part of the ruling coalition multiple times. It is also true that Hezbollah originated in response to Israel’s attack on Lebanon and has always had in its charter the goal of eliminating the State of Israel (not the same as killing all Israelis). Different truths can coexist.
Israel has a right to exist and defend itself, but the pager/radio attack was not in retaliation to anything specific by Hezbollah. They detonated them simply because they feared Hezbollah were very close to uncovering this secret capability they had built over months and decided to just use it than lose it entirely. It’s a war crime.

Would Netanyahu think that propping up Hamas was a mistake? It did succeed in undermining the PA and any progress towards a two state solution. Even now I'm not sure if he'd think it was a bad move 🤷♂️.
A fragmented Palestine with angry hopeless terrorists is probably less scary to some in israel than a united peaceful one looking to negotiate the end of the occupations.
