Not too sure about that. NAU is deep this year. Next year they lose most of their top 7. The remaining roster will be very young and in experienced. If Shively and Perez adjust well to college, NAU will definitely need them.
Chandler Welsh of R.J. Reynolds in North Carolina has announced her verbal commitment to NC State. Welsh was runner-up at last Saturday’s NC 4A cross country championship in 17:44.17. She has track PRs of 4:59.08 (1600) and 10:35.38 (3200).
