I think a lot of people overlook what an epic comeback story this is for Levins. There were some desperately low years for him after his ankle injury. I remember a 30min 10k as immense progress. If you search these boards from 2016-2017 you'll see how he was written off by many so-called experts. And after his 2:09 in 2018 there was some ups and downs, and he was written off by many again.
I think Cam is a genius. Mr Houle let him do what was in his heart. But Salazar decided that Cam was wrong-headed. It seems that Mr Finn recognizes that maybe Cam has the right ideas for Cam? Cam seeked out Jimmy, and Jimmy was the perfect choice.
Cam is 34 this month. I think, in a silver lining kind of way, those downer years extended his career.
