Also, some random guy who was handing out paper flyers by the entrance to the field just rushed the women's 5k finished and lifted up the 1-2. He tried to run but was caught by security after like 10 meters. Some Kenya fan also rushed the track and got stopped instantly. Don't think either of the 1-2 knew the fan.

Wish Leigh Diffey hadn't said Hassan was born in Ethiopia and "switched allegiances" to the Netherlands. She was a teen refugee and not even a runner yet. Made it sound like a Kazakhstan buyout.
