He was over there entire week before because he went to film Vienna.
I'm looking at his Strava and he was definitely in Denver that whole time. He was there through April 6th. Don't know what kind fake news you've gotten into, but stop trying to spread it.

He was in Vienna filming Papa Kipchoge's 1:59 challenge leading up to the Amsterdam marathon in 2019.
Looks like he hasn't given himself any time to acclimatize to the timezone. Going west to east is a lot harder to adjust. Should have been there from Mon/Tue at te latest.
Jet lag is my #1 of the excuses he will have for failure. I don't know how many days he gave himself before the race when he went to Amsterdam in 2019 though. Maybe jet lag doesn't affect him. But I'm still putting it in the top slot of excuses.
Agreed, I am surprised he didn’t arrive much earlier in the week. It’s not like he has any responsibilities at home except to run to put food on the table. Couple the late arrival with a group run a day before the race will probably equate to 2:31. Oh well, at least he he will get a whopping 40K views for his Rotterdam material
Seth is an interesting guy to follow because he sits at the crossroads or immense natural talent and the worst training habits I have seen. I dont know how slogging 140 miles be week at 9:30 pace are going to help run a marathon at low 5 pace. Good luck with that. I'm predicting 2:32:33 and a 30 minute video full of excuses. The sad thing is he could pick up a book and followed canned plans and run better times. I shudder to think he might coach some day.
Tommy Hughes can run 2:30 at age 61! Granted he’s a huge outlier at that age, but I’m sure he understands the nutrition and hydration regimen for his marathons having a PR of 2:13 at his peak.
Tommy Hughes has the big advantage that he doesn't have to produce one stupid video a day.
Only a few hours left to get your predictions in. Weather in Rotterdam for the race looks a little cool at 37F at 7am. Partly cloudy with winds negligible. Good ‘Thon weather for someone from Colorado.
You wake up at 3:14 am, stumble out to the kitchen bleary eyed and set up your camera in the cupboard. 18 minutes later after multiple takes you finally sit down with your coffee and bobo. As you try and choke it down, your mouth drier than the Sahara, you gaze past the blinking red light and inky black lens and think "God I can't remember the last time I ate something without that thing pointed at my face".
A few hours later and it's time to run, so you hop in the car and drive downtown. Not without stopping and starting multiple times to set up the camera, and get some drone footage of you driving in the suburbs, of course. You live minutes from some of the most beautiful parks in the country but it's time for skyscrapers and concrete. You start jogging, infuriatingly aware of the shoes on your feet. The lockdown score is not gunna be good on these ones. Even if it was, you're almost at 50 miles anyway....it's almost easier this way, hurts less.
What's on the menu for today's run? Just a regular Tuesday - 27 miles at 50% of marathon pace. An everyday doorknob turner. Gotta build that aerobic base. The rhythmic whirring of the drone following you and the pitter patter of your feet are lulling you back to sleep, but it's not time to rest yet. Finally you return home and turn that doorknob. Who is there to greet you? Seven identical screaming toddlers, all named Seth Junior. There is another on the way, but it doesn't even matter at this point, who's counting? Well, you are, because another mouth to feed means you somehow have to find the time for more shoe reviews and longer daily vlogs.
After a hearty meal (handful of spinach, a walnut, and a hardboiled egg) it's time to sit down and get some work done. It'll take 6-8 hours to edit yesterday's vlog, better start early. Hopefully if you focus you can get to bed by midnight. A whole 3 hours of sleep...that would be nice...

Anybody in need of a good laugh, go check out his goal splits on his IG story. 2:10:30 for 40k. Delusional.
I've literally just woken up so I may be confused here, but looking at his IG his aim of 68:45 at Halfway requires a 16:17, 32:35 -> he's written 16:21, 32:42
also his 35-40K split of 1:54:20-2:10:30 is a 16:10... is he anticipating negative splitting this? and then 2:17:30 (double 68:45) requires a 40K of 2:10:20 and he's written 2:10:30.
I'm so confused. I don't mean to nit-pick but cmon get your own splits plan right...
Seth, Matt Fox, and Nick Bester all just featured on the Flotrack stream, hanging with the lead women. Seth was at the back of that group and looked to be working hard. 10k split up next.
