There is a common expression; "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."

If you don't understand this, it means that you need solid evidence with backup data to prove you've done something beyond the norm. For Darren, a normal guy with no history of doing anything notable concerning endurance events, his trip certainly is extraordinary.

Anyone who wants the public to believe they are doing some sort of cross country trek should consider this. If they don't, their claims won't be believed by logical people. We are logical people. You certainly don't seem to be because you take Darren's claims at face value with no evidence. I'd hate to see how often people take advantage of you in your life if you are as gullible as you seem to be. The good thing is that being gullible, you don't even realize you are being taken advantage of.

Please show us the extraordinary evidence proving that Darren's claims are legitimate.

Can you get someone to meet them on the road and film them riding in the RV or not?

They are now on the east coast heavily populated areas surely you have people who can provide proof

How about you get your friend Darren to post the watch data each night, then we will have solid proof he is cheating.

The tracker data proves he is cheating. It's switched off a lot, then they reappear 80 miles away.

Impossible mileage before the tracker arrived. These things are proof it is extremely unlikely a non athlete like this is really covering the trip without riding the RV.

If someone had video evidence, I think the prudent thing to do would be to wait until this all is finished and see what Darren does with this trip. If he starts shilling it for more self promotion, and starts getting real press, then THAT would be the time to release the video evidence. Then it would be a bigger story and the real press will jump on him. It'd be very unfortunate for Darren.

If I was Darren, that would be my primary concern.

What if we contact the porn guy in the RV that has been filming all this time and offered to buy his raw videos?

That is really poor poetry, the thing is though that there is no published itinerary and he flits about magically making giant 80 mile hops without the tracker being on, almost like he doesn't want anyone to come out and meet him.

It is a delay tactic because he doesn't want the Richmond Bicycle Club to ride with him. He is hoping that they don't want waste a weekend with him. The celebrated Mr. K isn't capable of 15 mph all day like the gps shows. Does anyone know where he is staying? It would be nice to know so they can be there waiting for him.

It might be the opposite. On the weekend there are more Richmond cyclist who can follow an RV. Not that they want to.

None of that is proof that he actually doing this.

If he was really doing this then he'd wear a watch and upload the GPS, heart rate and cadence data.

Its simple and easy to do and would prove that he's doing it.

The very fact that he isn't is proof enough for me that this is a scam.
