Let's all raise our glasses and cheer Larry Macon who is surely going for some other cheating record or two. I heard from a couple of gals on the course that he is the biggest womanized around and tries to hit on all ages. Girls you have to be laughing your skinny little butts off at the absurdity of that because the guy is such a fake.
I can attest to the cheating off and on the course. I got hit on pretty hard by Larry this past year and have to say his charms are as abundant as his wrinkles. He asked each and every week where I was going and how my day was and what was the best part of my day and what did I think of this or that - on and on and on and on.... So ladies, beware and get the money up front if you are so inclined. He contacted me again during the holidays and all I do is shake my head in amazement at his ego because my guess is that he thinks he's got something special going on - wonder what his wife thinks about all his fooling around??? or maybe she's just glad to not be bothered with Larry Macon the perpetual cheater supreme.
The current "famous" Larry Macon and Parvaneh have participated in many of the same races - Parvaneh's and Charlie's - which has to indicate that they are "endorsing" each other's cheating. Charlie needs money; Parvaneh needs money; Larry's got money = easy cheating opportunities. Larry never does the races at the real race times at any of these races and just buys his "times" into the race results. As for Parvaneh, she tag teams along at Charlie's and has control over her own postings. Remember money talks VERY LOUD!
I get where you're coming from in theory, and if PM or Charlie were putting on a race with 1000+ people, sure. But they put on races with 3-10 people.
I don't know anything about Charlie's race participants, but we know from past research on this thread that a ton of PMs race participants are made up runners from ratemyprofessors.com and wherever else she gets names. Who knows how many real paying runners she has.
So, at most she's getting maybe $300-$500 a race? At best?? Then she has to spend some of that on gatorade, medals and tshirts. So she nets $200-300 max?
And then she's sitting out there walking for 9+ hours or waiting for the other walkers to come in if she has a speedy day and finishes in 7 hrs. Seems to me there are a TON of ways to earn money that are more efficient than this.
Of course, this goes back to the whole "does PM pay taxes?" Whoever did some research a few pages ago tho show that I Ran Marathons isn't incorporated, so I suppose $300 tax free is better than a job where a % is going to the feds/fica every month....and you take hoe $200.
But still... I just got get it. Seems like its more for pride and bizarre bragging rights than money, but who knows.
Wish PM would final move to option 4:confess and come clean... would be really interesting to hear what does motivate her.
Summary to the money trail... from reading many posts- Parvaneh has no job and is getting money from somewhere besides legit race fees. Some people think that source is Larry Macon, he is quoted at spending over $150,000/yr on races in multi race articles. Parvaneh can't come clean (not that she would want to) because she would then say what Larry actually paid and how many cheating times went for the records. NEVER never will happen with the reasons being easy to know - fear of powerful & rich Larry, liking the records, and wanting more records. Let's see what record is around the corner as Larry always gets some new record around this time every year.

Based on 107 pages, theres a lot of ways Parvaneh Mo. and Larry Macon cheated and got the bad reputations deserved. These 2 cheaters who didn't come by any record honestly. I feel for Charlie Alwine because he seems like a decent chap that got into trouble with 2 people who don't believe rules apply to them. No body with a Guinness Record should be able to start (if they even did) whenever they want because it's not true to marathon spirit of the sport.

she approximately needs 2700 calories a day to maintain her weight, which I am ball parking at 150.
assuming she burns 300 calories an hour walking briskly, she is burning about 2400 calories a day with these 50k
she probably burns another 900 calories in other daily activity
so to maintain her weight she can consume about 6000 calories a day

I always kind of pictured someone doing 200+ weeks as skinny. Guess not.
I'm not sure I have ever seen someone do so many races where their times are so different. Usually there is some consistency..there is a good 2 hour fluctuation from day to day sometimes in her times.
