I would rather not claim to have a WR than to have one via cheating and lying about my race results. That's just me however.

Based on her recent results I don't buy a 7:19 50K. Sounds like a lap or two short.
Did GWR give a medal or trophy for this amazing feat? Did they include an * with a footnote at the end?
* Nobody gives a crap about this record, especially once they discovered how it was obtained.
Additionally, there is zero athleticism associated with either of her records which makes it a bigger freakshow. The only requirement is an insane amount of pointless freetime in your life.
Time to tuck the ego back in or loosen the belt a notch.
As another poster pointed out, perhaps she should be investigated for not reporting income to the IRS. It doesn't appear (based upon previous posts) that she actually has a business license but still collects race fees.
Texas Beef Council is no longer a sponsor of PMs? Weren't they listed not too long ago? Where did they go??

Just came across this. Honestly, are these 8 hour marathons a joke? I don't understand what type of events these are. 8 hours of walking around day after day seems to me like a fundraiser or something. Relay for Life maybe? Never in my life have I heard of someone claiming to break running records while continuously walking. Not trying to be disrespectful here one bit but this is not even close to my definition of breaking running records.
If there are records for walking the most miles in a day or week or month or year that is more what I would call this. This is definitely different than a couch potato getting off the couch and running a 6-7 hour marathon. I am cool with that and understand that. Good for that person. But to do that 3-4 times per week and claim to be breaking marathon world records is a bit off.
Starting to take offense to the claim that making comments about this joke is solely from "the boys". I am embarrassed as a woman for this woman. This is almost laughable to any average athlete or runner.

This goes back to what I said several posts ago. She, PM, is claiming to be "doing" all these marathons because of absolutely shady wording of the time limits. It's a joke, honestly.
Case in point, PM is (and has been doing) the Charlie Alewine Races

So there really is no limit at all, as long as you start early. If you start on time, you have 6 hours. If you start early, you can enjoy all the time you want. Well, what's to stop someone from starting early at 7:29 (instead of 7:30) just to enjoy all the time they want to finish?
Her (PM) own website says "Start / Finish Time
All events start at 7:30am each day. Course closes at 3:30pm every day allowing 8 hours time limit per day for all races, No Runner Left Behind. Early start option, you must let race director know if you want early start option at least one day in advance.Early start option is self supported until official start."
So since no one is there to actually verify when she (or any of them) starts or stops (If the course closes at 3:30 and you are still on it, isn't your race over?) Don't most normal people think like that?
To claim you have done all of these marathons because you and your buddy worded the time limits of your races so ambiguous as to play to your advantage is, honestly, laughable at best. It's actually quite disturbing. Is she that vain and needing of acceptance by others? It's like a little kid. "I did 200 marathons this year. I'm awesome. You should envy me. I did good, right?"
I'm sure it is up to the discretion of the RD.

From a race director perspective it is up to our discretion. Allowing a couch potato to walk in a seven hour marathon is much different than allowing a repeat runner manipulate the system to break world records by walking each and every finish outside of time limits. Marathon records are not meant to be walked at a seven or eight hour pace. That is completely ridiculous and everybody knows it. This woman can claim to have a world record but it is beyond a joke. Nobody cares one bit about some sort of make-believe record such as that. I'm sorry but I have no respect for this woman.

This thread has brought me hours of entertainment and i gotta head to the inlaws soon. Unless someone has any update on kip litton returning to the roads, I vote we keep tracking PM.
As we approach Christmas, lets all take a little time to be thankful we get to be on earth at the same time as the great and wonderful Parvaneh Moayedi.
She is a true hero and a walking miracle. Living proof that you can run a marathon every day and still be completely out of shape.
