Massive deflection in his replies to critical comments about his shoe testing. People point out that he only did easy miles in them and many months ago. Then he replies something like, "Look at my Strava!". Perusing his Strava just confirms that he only does easy miles with a few pickups here and there. For some reason, he thinks that this is the gold standard for testing shoes, especially racing shoes. Not races (which he doesn't really do and then only in Vaporflys) nor with long track sessions or tempo efforts (which he doesn't seemingly do).
I can see why Nike may have cut him off and I won't be surprised if other makers start doing the same. He is being intellectually dishonest and just winging it on reviews. He cannot run so, how can he evaluate running shoes and claim that it is based on firsthand experience?
