Here's what's going to happen whether you like it or not.

Kip Litton has a little money to throw around. Not a ton, but enough to keep alive what is a very important, even compulsory, practice" cheating in marathons.

It is also true that there is no way in hell he can dodge the chip mats at Boston, even without the whole running world atching.

So what I am going to do is accept $1,000 from him plus travel expenses to complete the 2012 Boston Marathon, using his official entry bib, in about two hours and fifty minutes.

There is no way you can stop this. I'll be in a Kip-like, very generic disguise -- baggy clothes, ball cap, big sunglasses. I'll keep this ensemble alive well into the race, as I can keep up 6:30s with no problem even so encumbered (one of the reasons Kip is letting me do this is my race credentials, which confirm the foregoing claim). I will clear out the moment I am done and that'll be it -- Kip'll have lived to cheat another day and will have a fairly fast Boston Marathon to his credit, with no way to undo this fact. And I'll be able to afford a really nice prostitute for a day or three.

This is not a lie and the only reason I am posting it is that the whole thread will be deleted long before anyone can point toward it as evidence of planned fealty.

But unless you're a dead ringer for Kip, isn't the finish line picture going to expose the con?

Also, assuming you're still wearing your racing clothes when you're with the prostitute, will you hid your bib number?

There are still rocks to be uncovered. I'm telling you - there's still much investigating to be done on Litton....

To the dude getting 1K for racing in his place, did he contact you? Kip's got some solid paper man. Kip and the mysterious Ben Millefogle(webmaster with 5friends on facebook) must be kickin it good in Davison along with the guy with the filthy mouth from KL thread no1, Dan Baxley. Man I haven't heard from Dan Baxley on these boards since late 2010.

Stupid post dude, very stupid. No secret on how he's doing it as many people have given the only real explanations. Boston? He's not running Boston and if he does he will jog it or drop out. Nice try though...not really.

Was anyone able to investigate the status of Kip's non profit efforts? Did he have a 501 3c charitable organization? Is there any way to find out more now that worldrecordrun.com is down and has been down for over a year?

Yes, I looked into it - communicating w/the local CF chapter. I was told they hadn't received any money from Kip. Don't read into this - who's to know if anybody actually contributed any money in his name?
