Today's video is basically a generic Seth Mountain Running Vlog including all the B-Roll, eating while driving, Drone footage- except he' s walking.
QOD at 5:30: Why the hell are you wearing a lit headlamp in broad daylight?
I wonder how Seth's study for his drone driver license is coming along? This is a great video for the FAA when they call Seth and discuss his criminal activity in Colorado air space.
Seth mentions in the video that he is STILL perfecting the shoe review scoring system. Imagine doing your job for multiple years and still not knowing how to do it. Unreal with this guy. Reviewing running shoes shouldn’t be this complicated.
I just love this shot: You can see the people in the background wondering what on earth this guy is doing hobbling along in his blue poncho with a drone in his face.
👉THANK YOU for picking up your running shoes from the "DeMoor Global Running Store". You are supporting this channel's video creation by using the Running W...

This is gold. Driving all that way, lacing up nice running shoes just to hobble along for 600m, the giant poncho...
I'm starting to like this content in a weird Marina Abramović-esque performance art sort of way. Don't think of it as a running channel. Think of it as an avant garde performative piece. There is no story being told, just raw surreal and absurdist expression. The relationship and interaction between Seth, DGR, and LRC is all part of the piece. He's not a scientist or a storyteller after all, he's an artist!
So Seth drove 63.3 miles from Englewood to Loveland Pass, one way to walk 600 yards?
I think that says a bit about how dry his well of ideas is running: he could spend that time brainstorming and filming new videos from home, but he can't come up with anything, so he drives over an hour each way to make a video with a backdrop the viewers want to see. He is definitely about his bread and butter (it's the only dish he knows how to prepare, in this analogy)
yup. There is a million and one things he could a video on and he chooses to do a mopey 600m walk in the mountains. This guy is toasted and buttered imo.
Usual padding of 10 mins of drone footage and eating. Some people have been asking him to explain how he got the injury. I recall him briefly once mentioned that he fell on the trails one day,my guess is he went down onto his tailbone hard. He looks in a lot of discomfort even now. Kinda feel sorry for him but as usual he's not being honest with his audience.
There is a small table placed in the middle of a room. Seth is sat at one end, wearing giant sunglasses and a hat that are too large for his small head and furry Deckers Labs flip flops. An unused head lamp dangles around his neck. Opposite him is an empty chair. A plate of eggs sits at the center of the table, half-eaten.
A crowd of people stands at the periphery of the room. One-by-one, they sit at the empty chair and read something to Seth. DGR reads a past comment of the day, LRC reads something from this thread's greatest hits. TL and the kids look on from the crowd. Seth must endure both the praise and criticism unflinchingly. If he makes it through a full 8 hour work day without reacting, without revealing even a hint of emotion, the kids get Andy's. If at any point he reacts in some way, positively or negatively, no food for TL for a week.
No one actually cares about running shoes reviews. No one in history has actually paid attention during the entire duration of some wide eyed squeak box telling his camera about how a shoe feels in a YouTube video. The people who watch these are dopamine deprived gooners who are eating peanuts off their bare stomachs while watching, and will probably let some running store employee talk them out of whatever shoe they were looking at so they can push last years brooks models onto them.
