Tough, Tough course! Although fairly flat, the course was at 5400 ft altitude and. although not sloppy, somewhat spongy. Anyone that finished under 39:00 did well. Many runners felt pain today.

I felt sorry for Coach Hanson today. I thought he was going to start crying when Neely Spence "miscounted laps". It looked like she was a lock to finish in the top 3 and then she walked off the course.
Bobby Curtis finishing 2nd saved the day.

I would like to see Derrick make a living on the TRACK! He does well in these xc fairytales, but not well on the track where the real racing begins.
XC is the realest racing there is.
Got some race video footage up (my girlfriend filmed the shots). Nice and hot in Boulder today! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypc1EPyl5Fc

How do you miscount to 3 of a 4-lap race?
What happened with Garrett Heath?
After crushing all the big guns a few weeks back I had high hopes despite 12K being an entirely different beast. I don't pay much attention, is that within the realm of reasonable?

Thanks for posting. It looks like you let Derrick get away early; that's too much to make up at the end. Got to work on that...
Well, it did not help that the geniuses at USATF rang the lap bell at the end of the second lap. I was standing right next to it when they rang it. Seriously, how does that happen.
True had a rough day
