Rassmusen out at Illinois, no word on why...fired?
Charles Ryan is the head coach. Former sprinter at South Carolina who's def. paid his dues. Right now, the team is sprints, jumps, and hurdles heavy and in their first year of being D2 eligible they won the indoor NCAA meet. They do have scholarship $$, but how it's divided up... I don't know. He's a good guy who gets the most out of his athletes. It's a niche school, but they have done well with recruiting in their short history. I'm certain that he would be straight up with you about the school, scholarships, and expectations.
Wait, what? Where did you hear that Rasmussen is out? I haven't heard anything about that.
Also, everyone forgets that Brown is in a transition period. Michelle is associate head at Stanford and Tim Springfield is only the interim director. What do you think is going to happen there? Will they promote him or do you think they'll find someone new?

Why would Brown not give the head job to Springfield? Holding out to find someone better? He's perfect for the job and paid his dues. I remember when he was the GA at Wisconsin and now he's about 50 years old. Dang.
