First, thanks for posting all the studies on autism. Having several studies to review made it easier so thanks for that. Of all the topics I'd like RFK Jr to address, my top concerns are the corruption of the drug approval process, completely revamping the FDA and CDC, more transparency, obesity, food additives, and foods that a likely to create long-term health problems. Childhood autism is low on the list so I haven't spent any time looking at autism studies.
I went back and listened to RFK, Jr's statement. It was quite remarkable: "By September, we will know what caused the autism epidemic and we will be able to eliminate those exposures." To make that statement, he must have some strong idea of the causes already.
I looked at the abstract of the studies you linked to and actually read a few of them, including their tables. I'm a novice here, but I saw one correlation that hasn't been discussed much publicly. Maybe you could comment on this correlation (which is not causation necessarily).
Taken together, these studies show that higher autism rates have been shown with higher processed food consumption, higher dried fruit consumption, and areas with specific types of air pollution. A common link between these diverse correlations is the higher levels of sulfites and nitrites. It would seem that this link should be studied more, or perhaps it has been. Any thoughts?
