if they're really sold on the doubling thing, hurdles just doesn't work. It's cool to see guys mixing it up in off events, but only when there is a mix of different type athletes.
With sprints, the multiple groups don't work for me. Just make a 1-2-4 group. Switch up what the double is from meet to meet.
COuld do similar with distance. a 15, 3, 5 group. Not sure what to do with the 800 guys. I love the idea of seeing wanyoni in a 1500, but I think I'd rather see the rest of them just come back and run a 400--which of course goes against what I said in my first paragraph.
There are some incredibly compelling doubles out there. But I don't know if there's enough to make that the backbone of what you're trying to do with the series.
Just occurred to me that Sage Hurta Klecker just earned $20k for having a couple of B races by her own standards. It's a good time to be a combo 800-1500 athlete.
Emily Infeld joined the field this week, ran her slowest 3000m since March 2016 and is set to win at least $10,000.
My main gripe so far is that there is way too much time between events. At least in a diamond league, you can watch the field events in between track events.

My current comment is that I wish the cbc broadcast would quit dropping out audio between the races. Being a livestream, when the audio drops out, you don’t know whether it’s due to losing connection, or they are simply turning down the audio. 😕
I prefer the diamond league coverage without commercials, but these long interludes and silent times seem like missed opportunities for income ... split screen ads or something
Exactly. If you don’t even have the three biggest stars of the sport right now (Jakob, Lyles, Duplantis) then this league won’t be any better than the diamond league and it is worse.
Jakob is not even close to being a top 3 star in the sport.
Sydney
Athing is still more popular
Lyles
Duplantis
Grant Holloway
Shacarri
Rai
Gabby Thomas
Probably a few more
I’m gonna guess that you’re American since every athlete you listed here is American
Okay, this segment with / by Melissa Jefferson is definitely the best one so far. Don't know much about her, but she comes across as very personable, and is very natural on screen. Need more of her and that type of fuzz piece compared to the others we've seen thus far
