I actually stopped listening because it was hurting my brain. But Trump said a few things:
- increase the Chinese Tariffs from 15% to 20%, thus bringing in revenue and helping local manufacturing and production.
- wants Ukraine war to end. I understand this to mean that he will try to organize peace talks (like he successfully did in Afghanistan - ending the 20 year war with support of all neighbouring countries), to end this.

The NY Times (for one) published two lists of 24 questions the moderators should ask, one for Harris and one for Trump. Not everything was asked, but nothing was asked that wasn't in these lists.
Anybody capable of reading a newspaper got the questions ahead of time.
