It used to be you left Jerry and it was over. Now when you leave you just get better. See Teare, Fisher, and now Thompson
Woody Kincaid too
Die gary martin actually run a 52 and then finish with a 45 sec 300 or are the results just messed up?
I think even guys like Nuguse and especially Kessler won't want this heat to be as close as the last. Expecting it to be quicker
Sahlman looked good
Gregorek out, Martin on the bubble.
Wascom best hair prize, supplanting Evan
I think they're messed up, I didn't see him do that
Atta way Hobbs. Take the lead
Nuguse in a speedsuit, Waskum in Adidas, and Kessler almost false starting. Good start to second heat
Speed in MPH should be replaced by sec/lap.
Nuguse will not advance
The 3 UNC runners, Wolfe, Strand and Phillip look like if you ordered the same guy in small, medium and large.

I was just thinking how nice it must be for him to know he is SO much better than the field.
Goose did himself and hobbs a big favor. Wynne and Ciattei just being savvy pros

Hold up I thought Nuguse hated wearing a speedsuit
Perfect race by Hobbs
Great racing from Kessler, sat on Nuguse the last 700m -- Nuguse looked a little flat in the last 100m but I'm not worried.

The meet began over four hours ago and I still don't see a thread by the owners or anyone else. Maybe something will show up later. This can serve as a temporary thread, I guess.
Summary so far:
Women's Hammer - One of only five Americans with the Olympic standard, Jillian Shippee, does not advance to the final. She threw 71.79 three weeks ago and has a PB of 74.93 but only managed 65.43 today. She finished 4th at USATFs last year but advanced to the Budapest World Championships due to Brooke Anderson being the defending champion from 2022.
- Lindon Victor of Grenada, a two-time Olympian and the bronze medalist from Budapest, is competing in the Trials. He was 7th in the 100m but had two fouls and a pass in the long jump so his decathlon is over.Coming up:
Men's 400 at 6:06 Eastern (3L06 Pacific) - High schooler Quincy Wilson is in heat #2.
LRC Note: We will be doing a live reaction show 30 minutes after everything ends at 11:30 pm ET. Most nights we'll try to do it at 11 pm ET but we want to try to let the guys in Eugene interview everyone before the show ends.
Waskom to the 3 stripes? Did I miss the announcement somewhere?
