I am surprised no shoe or apparel brand has picked her up by now. This thread has just shown how marketable she is. It’s been 4 days since the Olympic Trials, about 10 days since this thread started, and 11 pages on Ashlee. All because of a tweet? It’s probably more pages if you take into account the removed posts!
She didn’t make the team, she ran one of her worst performances, yet USATF chose to include a picture of her in their US Olympic Trials Weekend “core memories” post. I don’t see any threads on other athletes from the Olympic Trials still active on the Message Boards.
I knew very little about her before this thread, but she has quickly become my favorite runner and I think a lot of people can agree with me on that. I even ordered CBD from her online store the other day.
Like her or not, agree with her choices or not, she’s made it a fun ride. I look forward to see what the future holds for Ashlee and the impact she may have on the sport.
