Interesting: on Addy's fundraising page as of an hour ago, she has a donation from someone who publicly identifies himself as a talent scout for Kiprun ... So she is getting sponsorship attention!
I think Addy Wiley has doped in her past and is likely still doping now. I think she is in close contact with the Johnsons still. I don't think she's returning to Huntington but rather to be coached by Lauren and Nick full time, and I am sure some sucker sponsor will give her the money she is asking for to do so.

Well, that seems to be the plan anyway. Wiley certainly isn't running an 800 in Europe to prepare for cross country in the US.
It will be interesting to see which company decides to sponsor her.
I think it's hard to pin down exactly what her plans are because running XC at an NAIA school isn't exactly running at the top levels, but going 1:57 / 3:59 (assuming she does that) would definitely be. She could continue on the track to Mid-Sept, take 10 days off, and still help her team in XC in Oct / Nov. And, who would blame her? She's looking like a US Oly runner, so the more track experience, the better.
You all defending this full throttle, hot blonde doper have crazy blinders on. Given everything that has happened since her 4:26 1600 (12s PR) in HS, the last second de-commit to stay with her **convicted** and fired doping coaches, up to this last 800 (7s drop over a year), she’s the most obvious doper in athletics right now. Anyone who gives her a pro contract is basically running a drug ring.

My point was that it seems very unlikely that she won't go pro in the very near future.
The only non-pro to run 1:57 was Athing Mu, and she went pro a few months after that.
