Completely disagree, if anything the lights constantly clipping at their heels made me more anxious through both races as you can see when they lose a second a lap or so. fantastic addition for viewers (and for the passive watcher who isn't as informed on records/spits etc)
Everyone wants to say the lights help, but only when you're ahead of them. Once you're off the pace it will be a huge blow to confidence mid-race. also people on here acting like the lights make so much of a difference - it makes no difference to your physiology. it's no different to having pacers in a marathon that you can just sit in behind and switch off. grow up people.
