Weed may be making athletes slow, but marijuana edibles are a much better option.

There are a lot of great reasons to avoid the herb. You added one more, thank you!
Weed is definitely making athletes slow. The reason is that when you smoke weed, the THC enters your bloodstream and goes to your brain. There, it attaches to receptors and causes you to feel high. This process takes a while, and during that time, your body cannot move as quickly or efficiently as it normally would. Edibles, on the other hand, are absorbed much more quickly. The THC goes straight to your stomach and is then metabolized by your liver. This means that it enters your bloodstream much faster, and you immediately feel the effects. This is why edibles are a much better option for athletes, and you can find them on https://www.mailorder-marijuana.org/buy-edibles-online.
There's another wonder drug called kratom. It comes in powdered and capsule form and has stress relieving benefits. The great thing about it is you can make tea from its leaves or mix it with other beverages. Kratom sure does calms your nerves and has amazing effects. high quality kratom is available at supernatural botanicals.

I actually have a funny story about that. Back in undergrad XC, my teammates and I were running a 10 miler. We were pretty spent from the workout the day before so we were just trying to grind it out and no one really felt like talking. At around 7 miles, our best runner turns around and says, "Guys. I smoked right before I got here. I am so high right now" and we burst out laughing cause he was the one keeping the pace strong the entire time! Good times. While he went on to run great times, I believe he would have done so much better if he took it abit more seriously. You could see the talent, but the hard work was not there consistently.
I don't get it. Are you saying he was not working hard because he got "high" before running? I mean he was running with you, right? Working hard and getting "high" are not mutually exclusive. In fact a lot of people get "high" not to avoid work, but to do work. Either to make boring work bearable or to enhance work they enjoy doing.
The guy you're talking about may have in fact been lazy but I don't think it was because of the weed.
