Mo Farah probably realized his maratho career was going nowhere and started to panick. It's probably it's ultimate attempt to salvage a declining career. But I think that he is underestimating the field and overestimating itself.
Last time he barely won the 10k and lost the 5k. Now, two years older and after marathon training, I see him losing both , getting a medal would be a surprise.
We all know that he is a product of industrial doping, but even Lance Armstrong lost in his comeback.

Both of Farah's predecessors, Bekele and Geb, failed to medal in their 3rd Olympic 10000m....so it's interesting to see if Farah can break the curse. Geb was still going strong in 2003 with his world 10k performance, while Bekele ran a WL in 2011, but Farah didn't seem to have produced anything similar in 2019.
I would actually watch track if the doping cheaters Rupp, Mo and Centro get banned.

I think he will find that winning championships by running times pple run 30 years ago just doesn't cut it anymore.
