First of all let me just say that it is cold this morning. Cold and raining. Cold (if not colder) than a witch's tit. And that's a fact.
So I walk in the office, throw my umbrella on the floor, and comment that it's "colder than a witch's tit this morning" and my coworker just sort of half turns to me and raises her eyebrows.
It's like, did I somehow misspeak here? I wanted to say "you got a problem with that lady?", but I bit my tongue and kept it civil.
Prepare to be terminated. Probably won't happen, but in today's society, it definitely could. Women are minefields in the workplace, especially now after the MeToo movement. Say one wrong thing or even one thing that is perceived in the wrong way, or even one false accusation, and you're outta there as a man (mainly if you're a white man).
Just fyi, my friend recently got promoted to manager, and his boss told him straight up that he will be fired no questions asked if there is ever even a single accusation of sexual harassment against him. There is no due process anymore. There is no sanity.
