Makes perfect sense. Even more so when he mentions going to amazon which is full of fake stuff these days.
Running Warehouse has a much better selection than most running stores. I haven't noticed that their prices are significantly higher than elsewhere. The customer reviews are a great resource that I'd be willing to pay a little more to support even if the prices were higher. And I'd rather give my money to Joe Rubio than Jeff Bezos.

Let's unpack that statement. Running warehouse is a place where you can get pretty much any shoe you want in any color you want at market prices. And it's done with extreme convenience - a few clicks and it's delivered to your door in a few days.
It's interesting to think what kind of a person would say that this service is useless. A human turd. I guess there is no shortage of turds in this world.
You can find spikes and flats on running warehouse that you can't even find on nike's own website.

So, by your logic, no doubt you still shop at an indoor mall for all of your clothes and such and pay full retail for all of it then right? Shopping paradigms change, consumers always look for better product at better prices. RW is not nearly as appealing as it once was for many of us, but we should feel compelled to shop there, just as you feel compelled still to shop at full retail at the local indoor shopping mall. When I can get those exact same things on Amazon for substantially less, then yes, that renders them pretty much useless.

What are you talking about? I just checked the site and they have lots of shoes at less than retail. They do sell the latest releases at retail, as they always have and are required to by the manufacturers. Harder to get coupons now, those were nice, but RW is still in the mix.
When I want shoes, I just google what I want and google shows me everyone who has them and how much they are. Quite often, RW is the cheapest. Not always, sometimes it's 6pm, or Amazon, or someone else. I've never paid more than ~1/2 retail, but I've never bought the new releases right when they came out.

Oh really? Let's search for Saucony Kinvara 10 or Nike Pegasus 36. Turns out the price is the same. Oh, and with RW you're not dealing with some shady third party working through Amazon with who knows what kind of return policy. Oh, and the selection on RW is 100x better than what you can find on Amazon. Oh, and it's free shipping, which is the same.
True, if you want a used pair of 1993 Nike Pegasus shoes you might want to try ebay. But that's not really what I'm looking for.
