I am impressed by how far Rowbury has come back already. She was running high 16s last fall after the pregnancy, I believe. She has a chance at the team now.

Centro's close in 60/54 shows that he will be a force to be reckoned with at the trials and potentially in a slow World final if he gets that far. If he makes the team, he's still got a long time to get in top shape for World's and he is coming along well. His 1:46.3 800m this month was his best since he ran 1:44.6 in 2015. I was thinking he didn't have the world qualifier with a best of 3:37, and the standard is 3:36.0 but they allow for 3:53.10 in the mile and he ran 3:52 at Pre. In the 1500m, there are only three Americans this year who have run under 3:36, Wynne, Kidder, and Engels, and they all ran low 3:35. Brazier actually has the 7th best American 1500m outdoors this year. However, Engels, Centro, Blankenship, Gregorek (who also ran 3:49.98 indoors) and Murphy all ran 3:51 or 3:52 in the mile to get the qualifier. Add Sam Prakel who ran 3:50.94! indoors.

I have family and the children of friends competing in these meets. I can't travel to them all. Flotrack is a fraction of going to a single Alabama football game. Get over it.

Jenny and Chelimo are our only hope in distance running ....and King Ed. And I don't trust Houlihan.

Remember when Centrowitz won the Olympic Gold medal in Rio in a slow race because of perfect positioning at the bell and a super fast last lap?

The person with the fastest PB doesn't necessarily win the race, especially when there are rounds to be run.

You know this though.

The Kenyan's (aside from Rudisha) aren't that great at tactics in championship meets.

For all the people on here claiming they make 6 figures, there sure is a lot of complaining about paying for a pretty cheap membership to watch a ton of races and training videos from pro athletes. If you want to watch the races and think you can't afford it, just stop buying a $5 cappuccino every day. Priorities, priorities, priorities...
