Honestly? She needs to go back to South Africa where she can get the medical coverage she needs. The U.S. Healthcare system is in shambles and foreigners pay a pretty penny for healthcare coverage. She should go home where medical care is probably cheaper.
No longer at CCU!

She already transferred once.
Where is she now?

Is a pre-existing condition your explanation why coastal doesn't cover the medication? Or why the ncaa allows her to financially benefit from her position as a student athlete?

why isn't her school paying for it?

It's my understanding that the athletic department insurance covers medical expenses that are needed because of sports injuries. When I was in school and got an MRI, saw the ortho, whatever, it got billed through my parents' insurance and the remaining copay was absorbed by the school's insurances so I had no out of pocket costs. I sat an out of network physical therapist while home for the summer after being out all of outdoor track with a stress fracture and the school paid for it.
Transferring to California Baptist University - Riverside
Poor decision, you can't get any more tailor made than Zola buds for her.
What South African studs does Zola have coming in next Fall?
Bump
Caster Semenya, she will compete in Men’s indoor/outdoor track spring and Women’s Cross Country in fall.

This is against NCAA rules
Everything's covered under Obamacare so she's running a scam.
My thoughts. The cost should be born by the person who struck her (there is no conversation about that person) only finding fault with the injured. May none of the commentators on this page ever go through what she as experienced (struck by a vehicle and alone in a hospital in a foreign country). Transferring twice is well within in the rules as I see them practiced by other athletes. If funding raising or a transfer is a violation, I expect NCAA has addressed both. Perhaps people active in this conversation can find a way to support and not tear her down. She is a visitor to our country and apparently has harmed no one. A visitor to SA is required to have all medical bills paid in full before being permitted to leave. She is proceeding in a responsible manner.

Just curious mr. Hughell, why the bump? You related to this in some way?
I think she moved back to South Africa actually
She should check out the sugar baby thread.
