I was hoping to go 2:25 at London, but I'm gonna pull the plug. Threw in the towel at mile 5 of the fourth rep this morning. I'm not ready.

push through and try again next week, I would start off at sub-MP though, that's the only way I finished the workout
Hey guys I just got back from doing my 5x18 mile workout. I Think I an ready to run 2:55 in the “thon”.
Has anyone looked into whether this workout has become more popular during COVID times? It seems like with more people working from home, there should be more people able to squeeze this workout in, especially given the longer taper time before most marathons...from now until who knows when.

Dude, what was the rest interval?
Any longer than a 90 second jog and this workout is meaningless. The big boys are doing 6x20 these days anyway.
That said, I’d predict 2:55.

This workout just seems so crazy. My long run is 15 miles every third week and you are asking me to do 5 x 18 miles??
Is it 5 x 18 miles or 5 x 18 minutes. One seems super hard and the other seems otherworldly.
