Running is so linear, so I was doing all these plyometrics to loosen my hips up, but then that becomes mundane, so I’m trying to develop a system where you can dance and serve the same function.

I've read all that stuff about his bike trip to brazil and all the had to go through. it's hilarious. well, a good part of it sounds awful and I felt bad for him, but it was funny at the same time.

you did right dude. stanford is so over rated. palo alto sucks. plus you have to actually study a little there. should have gone to cu. boulder is a much better place. lot's o' chicks who love to do the nasty 24/7. trust me on this.

Gabe could have a career as a drug dealer. If he doesn't smoke up all his product.

i'm with red here (and i rarely agree with red). if his life doesn't affect yours, don't be so damned threatened by it. it's not how i choose to live, but i don't give a rat's ass if that's what he wants to do. hope he's having fun. i'm disappointed that he's not still running elite level times, but since it's not really my business ...

old school, thought police and others who hate him with such vitriol should just get over it. i doubt jennings gives a rat's ass what you think, so why do you care what he thinks? the only reason he has a platform to speak from is because he throw a hissy fit every time he dares to live outside the norm.

AND...Who says that Jennings doesn't contribute to society? There is more than one way to contribute. Where people like yourselves might contribute by working 40 hours/week, paying your bills, providing practical services, etc, etc. People like Gabe contribute by standing in opposition to materialism/consumerism and being totally unoriginal and boring.

Personally, I wouldn't want to live in a society comprised of 100% of either one of these types of people. We need both. If we were all good ole red-blooded workaholics living in the suburbs, then we would be a nation of nothing but ethnocentric drones. If we were all like Gabe, then chances are, some important shit would never get done. I mean, can't we just agree that there is a need in our society for people like Gabe, and a need for people who are the opposite? Personally though, I think we could use a few more Gabes and few less red-blooded workaholics.

They're both 10 times more fun than running thats what.
