I support Kaep and stopped watching NFL. It seems that this season they're going out of their way to showcase terrible games on SNF and MNF.
Mark Cuban was right and the NFL started its decline. It's going to be gone in 10-15 years.

The boring nationally scheduled games are a problem, but could we have predicted they would be when they were scheduled?
I live near John Madden. Back when he was healthier, I saw him pretty often. I once asked him what the next Monday Night Football game was going to be. Can't recall the teams, but I think they were both 2-4 at the time. "It seemed like a good idea when the season started," he said of the game.
The networks might also want to get a little less sentimental about long established traditional rivalries. Yes, Green Bay and Chicago may historically be virtually tied after about 180 games. But you could tell a mile away before the season started that Chicago would be bad and probably will be for three more years, so don't give them a national TV spotlight.
I haven't been paying attention since Marshawn left. Does anybody else think that it's a turnoff that Americans are so into it? And especially with high school and college football. High school coaches getting paid as much as teachers. College coaches getting paid millions. These are just guys playing a game. No need to take it so seriously.
I also feel like people would be better off improving their own lives and not paying so much attention to sports. If people exercised and participated in sports as much as they watched sports, maybe there would be fewer fat slobs in the US (but maybe it's genetic, so maybe not).
That said, it would be ok if my soccer playing kid tried to be a kicker. Just for the chance to make the money.
They could have used your kid in Sunday night;s Arizona-Seattle game. Both kickers choked.
I tried watching some games this week. I'm tired of the constant commercial breaks every few minutes. I don't understand why we pay 100+ per month for TV channels that show advertisements at every opportunity.

That's why I dumped cable years ago.

Colin isn't protesting the country... he's protesting cowardly dickless pigs mistreating and killing unarmed people
But apparently, Colin is okay with:
1.) the obscene amount of money he's being paid to do nothing of value to society
2.) his NFL brethren who regularly beat the crap out of women and get away with it.
Who's the cowardly dickless pig again????
I quit watching pro football to read the Podesta emails and plan to take action accordingly.

6-6 tie, between Arizona and Seattle almost did it to me tonight. Still, I'm a glutton for punishment, I'll be back tomorrow night and next weekend
I am sorry I missed that. Seriously. I'd much rather see a game like that than some 42-38ish one that's so common now. And I think ties are cool because they're almost non existent now. On the other hand, the NFL is WAY over officiated now. The flow of games is almost non-existent because of all the interruptions for reviews and commercials. But I'm still sorry I didn't watch last night's game.

Then you're missing track and field if you don't have cable.
I've been a Jags fan for 20 years. If I can still watch football, anyone can.
Unless you are a Browns fan then I give you some leniency to give up on football.

Are you ticked off because colin makes money?
Then you should also be mad at most entertainers who make big money for adding nothing of value to society . That includes propaganda mouth pieces like Rush Limbaugh, Hannity and almost everyone at Faux news who make money by telling half truths and sometimes outright lying.
I find it comical how right wingers say Kapernick of offending the military yet Trump has said some very disparaging things about the military like
1. Soldiers who get PTSD are weak
2. Soldiers like Mccain who are captured are weak
3. Trump also claims he knows more about the war than generals
4. Trump also accepted a purple heart medal yet he dodged the draft 5 times !
But lets me mad at Kapernick...............
The hypocrisy and selective outrage of right wingers is just breathtaking.

Depends if the defense actually had anything to do with the missed kicks....

Doesn't depend on anything for me. I'm just sorry I missed watching a 6-6 tie although it would have been ideal if all or at least half the points came from safeties..

No, toots. I'm ticked because if Colin really wanted to challenge the status quo--and perhaps put his obscene salary at risk--he'd publicly criticize his own house, aka the NFL.
And what the hell does any of what I said have to do with Fox News?

How could you possibly know that?
The unfortunate truth is that Colin, nor his black lives matter comrades have no clue what they are protesting, no end game, and no plan to actually do anything to make any changes. They have no education on the current situation in america, no original thoughts or ideas, no clue about what police do or see on a daily basis, and no eye on the real issues plaguing their people. Its a monkey see monkey do movement.
IF they had the things that I outlined above, they would stop committing a disporportionate number of crimes, stop killing each other at a rate exponential to what these so called "pigs" kill them at, and stop perpetuating a fatherless culture that glorifies gangs, drugs, violence, unprofessional attire, and a butchering of the english language.
Do that...and then we've got a real movement that could do some good. Instead I fear we'll continue "raising awareness" by disrespecting the flag in protest of the minute number of criminals killed while resisting arrest and never actually "doing" anything.

I grew up a 'niners fan, remember watching "The Catch" when I was in 5th grade. I stopped liking them about 2 years ago, and my interest in football in general has dropped off dramatically since then. Kaep had nothing to do with my disinterest in football, nor my loss if interest in the 'niners and his protests honestly don't bother me (I served in the army for 9 years).
Coincidentally, he is from the town where I live and my son's 4th grade teacher was Kaep's 4th grade teacher. My son is currently a freshman at Kaep's alma mater and I have a couple of friends who teach there. I've never even thought about asking them what they think or what the sentiment around campus is about his protests.
The local hot dog joint no longer offers the "Kaep Dog" which was a pretty disgusting mixture of stuff. I don't know when they stopped offering it, but we were there last week, and it was no longer on the menu.
