My sister got 13 off zero training when she was 10 years old, the school was so impressed they paid for her training but she quit after the 2nd session because her dad had to carry her home into the taxi. That's real talent. Stick to 5K and get fit.

Best troll ever?
Hello again, wanted to post my progress. My brother's moving soon, so he wanted to do some 100m dashes with me. I hit 13.05, so that's a big PR for me. Still hitting those 40-50mile weeks and doing calisthenics. Saturday(, Saturday, dance to the music! Three Dog Night reference) I did 2 x 110m Dash, & 50m Dash, 17.7, 17.65, and 7.7 respectively. Two days before that, I did the 2 x (3 x 60m w/ 20m Rolling Start, 110m Walk), 200m Walk mentioned earlier.
What's going through my mind is this. If I could hit a 11-12sec 100 while hitting the distance volumes like I am now, then I might wanna focus more on my sprint speed. I realize that getting 0.6secs is not gonna happen forever #diminishingreturns. Even if those time don't happen, having a finishing kick is always nice and make getting a faster quarter easier.
Running's a fun way to get fit, and that may be where it ends. As a 19 year old who was overweight all childhood and never really got the chance to do athletic things though, I'd like to dream :) Not like I'm banking my coins on this being my career obviously, but if I happen to do some cool stuff while living a more normal life then why not capitalize upon it? Once again thanks for reading everyone :)
Wow, I totally forget that. I know he's famous for his outlandish finishing kicks, I never bothered to check his time though. Good point
How are you doing with the sprints, Sam?
that is crazy if this is true. Also, off of no training?
The record for 10 year old girls is 12.54, top runners go 12.8 or something. So, either your sister is a FREAK athlete who had sub 11 potential, or you're lying.
