If NBC produces an event for the pubclic, then they open themselves up to criticism. Some posters love to say we are not entitled to anything, but what makes NBC entitled to produce crap without feedback?
Many posters here are USATF memebers. How much of that revenue is being used to pay for air time on NBC? Most of the USATF's revenue is membership.
I'm generally speaking of the LRC motif of not paying for anything. There was s thread last week banditting races and no one had a problem with stealing race entries.
Our sport operates on thin margins and the reason that the hobby jogger industry has taken over competitive running is that they'll pay for the experience and pay for gear. The average LRC'er won't pay for anything.
