This could be my sons ticket to the Ivy League. He has a 35 act but is a white suburban normal kid, nothing "special" or unique. This would look great in his college essays if he joins girls track and cross country and breaks state records. Now the tough part of selling him to proclaim that he identifies as a girl.
The Department of Education OCR (Office of Civil Rights) now unilaterally rolls out the rules governing everybody in school. It's happened so fast that most people don't even see it happening. All based on the following phrase:
"No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance."

Who voting for this knew that it completely altered the meaning of "Men's" and "Women's" restrooms, to line up with the rapidly shifting meaning of "Male" and "Female".
I'm liberal, but this is stupid. However, it will right itself in time when that comes clear.

I'd do it myself, but I'm too old and fat. I suppose I could still destroy the throwing records though.

It won't take thousands of cases, or even hundreds or cases. No matter how "rare case" it is, it only takes one and only one to blow apart the record books and make them meaningless.
I feel like I am being trolled. This has so many obvious bad implications it's not something you would want to unilaterally start doing everywhere. It's still in the "here is an idea, let's think this through" stage.

I'm with you on this. But it isn't really that much of a choice. The Feds take away from a state's citizens via taxes and then offer to return some of your citizens taxes by special programs (school, roads,...). Decline the money and your citizen's money gets sent to other states.
This is pure gold. I can't wait to see how the radical leftist progressives react when a boy decides to identify as a girl and destroy some records.
