Baumann was not "doped to the gills". It's almost sure that he never has doped at all.

Should be noted that it's now it's clear Geb, KB, and scores of others were cheats. The times they ran during the EPO heyday, when others would have been KO'd because of testing are now laughable. Never mind that to this day those holy E Africans still avoid out of season testing.

Racial distinctions are essentially spurious. But North Africans are generally considered to be Caucasian, which is a racial distinction. How do I know? I googled it, which apparently others on the thread didn't think to do. They must all be in their 70s. In any event, Arabs and Jews are North Africans (not counting diaspora Jews.) "Semitic", traditionally, refers to the peoples of a certain linguistic - and not "racial" - grouping. So being Semitic isn't contrary to being Caucasian. Different categories; one spurious, one not. Which is to say, of course Spaniards are Caucasian.
