The only thing that doesn't support this argument although is I'm not sure why he ran signed up for Payton Jordan, because if the illness had put him out for a while I wouldn't imagine he'd be back into form the 1st weekend of May, and with his 13:12 at Pre, who knows if he would have won the race without 4 more week of training, he only closed in 56 mid

He's probably doing some very intense training right now, plus Worlds are in 4 weeks, he has plenty of time

I'd be willing to bet that he is just trying to stay away from the drama and focus on his job. that simple. bet he'd like to race, but not draw the attention or criticism which can distract from worlds.

Weren't the main drugs AlSal et al were accused of abusing mostly limited by in-competition use (as in you only need a TUE to use while racing)?... So perhaps they are taking better advantage of this.

Anyways, centro and rowbury and mo are running just fine.

Centro said in the flotrack interview that he may run a meet in Portland, what is he referring to?

I thought there was a meet in Portland in August other than the 10k meet or is he referring to the same meet and there's going to be other events?

WTF? He's been training here in Park City for weeks. I see him most late mornings. busting out the 5:30 pace for many miles down around the preserve. I also heard he's doing half his runs up on Guardsman, which is about 10,000 and up- but I haven't seen him up there on the mornings I'm up there. I suspect he is running later in the morning to avoid all the college and HS teams that are up here right now.

It would be a good plan, but Rupp's not going to run a fast 10k two weeks prior to Beijing.
