Every fact is disputable. You, of course, would be on the wrong side of the argument. I imagine that you are quite accustomed to being in that position. In a strict sense, "that is indisputable" is incorrect. There will always be somebody stupid enough to dispute even the most solid fact.

No he doesn't average more than 100 mile weeks year round. In fact, he was running right at or slightly less than 100 miles a week before his last marathon. For Paris he was around 110 miles a week. Canova said that he was doing 80-90 miles a week when he was a track runner and setting world records. He learned this when he became his coach. Both he and Hermens have talked recently in interviews and on this board about his mileage both what it is currently and what it has been in the past. But no, he doesn't "average over 100 mpw".
Give the average NFL player 7 weeks to train and he could run at least a 2:05 marathon.
That's what I heard. They are supremely talented athletes, therefore would be good at any athletic event that they focused on.
