LeBron James is one of the most accomplished athletes in history. Kate Middleton is the definition of a nobody. She has accomplished nothing except being fertilized by another nobody, a ginger twit descended from a long line of inbred nobodies. Britons should be thrilled that LeBron James would stoop to touch someone as insignificant as Kate Middleton.
Remember when Lebron was criticized for hugging or shaking hands with all the players from the other teams before the game?

No one cares that Lebron James touched Kate. You can see if the video that Kate and Will weren't bothered, it is just some crappy journalist trying to get a response out of people by bringing it up.
Lebron James is supposed to familarize himself with protocol? Why? Why should he? The Royals (didn't they used to play in Rochester, and then Cincinnati?) came into the NBA's house.
We're not a British colony anymore and we're not party of the commonwealth and if not for us, the UK would be a third tier country.
There's lots of pretty ethnic Russian girls like Kate-babe in England that turn tricks for a pint ot two.
The Royal family have been largely forgotten about in the UK for a long time. They're just used as a tourist attraction for Americans, who for some reason seem to lap it all up.. perhaps compensating for the lack of class in their own culture.
America is a republic. They soundly defeated the British for their independence. Royal protocols thus have absolutely no place in America or any other republic country for that matter.

Many advanced societies have a head of state divorced from party politics and considering what passed as head of state for the USA in the last few examples, it’s about time America voted in some eminent statesman as a dignified and regal emissary.

For instance, I notice Prince William popped onto an ordinary commercial passenger airliner when travelling from New York to Washington to meet Obama.
Compare that to what it cost the pretentious Michelle Obama and her two children trip from Belfast to Dublin (100 miles) for a two day stay.
Travelling on Air Force Two - the total cost to US taxpayers (for two days) was $7,921,638.66.
Considering flying our whole Royal Family for a year cost around $5.2 million, talk about having ideas about one’s station in life - in normal circumstances, Michelle would be working down below stairs in Buckingham Palace.
Kate is a hoh to toss around the NBA. So was Diana and Elizabeth.

Rubbish. We Brits love our Royal fam more than anyone and we certainly act that way. Yes, they may be only figureheads and relics of a bygone era, but they are all ours. Their presence helps take our minds of the droll weather here and our boring lives. God save the Queen!
