Alexa Efraimson 2:03.26 @Brooks PR

In some ways, I think Sleazy is setting Cain up to fail. I have heard nothing but excuses from him. She is in school, has exams, prom, learning to drive... blah blah blah. True confidence comes from execution and results.

Plus on top of that it was indoor so I would subtract a second or 2 if you're converting to an outdoor track w/ good weather, I think if she was in an DL meet outdoor in the same shape she had currently been in, she could've gone sub-4... People just looked at her 4:07 like it was nothing, but it was actually very phenominal! Efraimson ran 4:07, sea level, DL meet, outdoor, good weather, lots of competition around her so yes, I do think Cain is still on another level than her, and any comments about them being just as fast as each other, I honestly don't understand... If Cain skips the Junior Curcuit and just concentrates on DL (which I think she should do), then she will definitely break 4 later on this year (probably in Brussels)...

I'm kinda with you here. It's not Mary's fault obviously. Just something about her basically training as a pro from such a young age with, agreed, a generally unlivable coach, rubs me the wrong way.

I know it's illogical and stupid...but just how I feel. As I've said elsewhere, it probably doesn't help that I wasn't following the sport closely last year when MC ran her best. This year, including XC! Alexa has been better arguably.

That is only like 3 seconds off the men's world record. That's a hell of a marathon time for a young girl.

Alexa has yet to match any of Cain's accomplishments. Perhaps she will this summer.

She is clearly religious because every time she wins a race you can see her make the cross thing christians do. Just because you think a religious person isn't book-smart shows how naive you are.

Maybe you're right.... I've been known to do so before. I guess I'm almost 27, so high schoolers just seem so young.

I understand if some of you are Efraimson fans and I hope she develops to get better, but until she achieves some of Cain's time, accomplishment, etc they're just currently not on the same level
