Not a letsrun.com apologist, but The USATF hasn't addressed the issue yet. I, for one, hope that the Brojos don't let this die until the Excessive influence of Nike/Salazar is publicly addressed. There's not one new piece of evidence in those videos that would have reversed the decision.

LetsRun.com believes strongly in the integrity of the sport and it journalistic mission. There is a strong public interest in the video being seen. This video relates to transparency on the part of USATF.
The video is very benign.
LetsRun.com believes strongly our use of the video falls under "fair use" if USATF wants to make any copyright claim to the video.
If there was a controversial call in the NBA and the NBA had secret video it used to rule on the call and the video was leaked to the press entities would publish the video. That is what we are doing here.

Haha. I love the videos but clearly not "fair use" as this footage was not granted to anyone. I still love it but yeah, they could have legal action and win. Guessing when they tell you to take down it will be down. Question then becomes when will it go back up?

"Inadvertent" means "not resulting from or achieved through deliberate planning." Dude watch the tape. She never runs into the back of Rowbury (at most their elbows graze when she goes by). This was established way before this tape was released and Rowbury even said so in her own interview.
This has already been debated but to me,in both cases, it look like the runner in front starts to drift out and Grunewald thinks she can pass on the inside. The the runner closes back inside and Grunewald has to cut to the outside after starting to commit to the inside. In the case of Jordan, she then drifts back outside again as Grunewald is passing.

It proves no such thing. This could very well be the exact same footage the officials had access to the first time around when they twice made the call not to DQ Grunewald. According to Jill Greer's statements later on (and that of the TV crews in the immediate aftermath) it can be assumed that the third time around, what was "conclusive video evidence" was this exact same footage played again, but "enlarged, enhanced, different medium".
It's not like they didn't have access to the all the camera angles the first time around.

In fact there might be a DQ here - Hasay. GG was at the inside edge of the lane and Hasay had drifted out. Hasay then went right to the rail, and right in to GG's feet. There is no way Hasay had anywhere close to the space you need to move in when you pass and this situation is similar.
Agree, Hasay is drifting all over the lane and slowing down when contact is made.
Hasay left the rail open, then drifted back in. She's more at fault then Gabe. But whichever way you slice it there's no foul.

You're most definitely at fault here. You cost a young runner a very important chance to advance her career by siding with GG without ever having all the facts and video. Letsrun and GG owes Jordan Hasay an apology. You keep pointing to the errors of the USATF? You letsrun need to focus on your own errors.
I couldn't agree more. Bumping takes place in all races, but not the Pamplona bull trample that GG promulgated. Now, after watching the 4 minute clip, I am convinced that GG should have been DQ'd. The crusade of LR to attack on Salazar and USATF after this race was disgraceful and insulting to our sport. Low Class!!

Weldon is correct. Hasay pulling out of the race was her own decision. My question has never been answered.
How could Hasay pulling out have any effect on sending a DQ'd runner to Worlds? Deciding on not going to Worlds does not change the fact that GG was DQ'd.
It seems Letsrun is rehashing this ancient topic to distract from their screw-up on the Hall is God and the real reason a black American was declared winner of the BM bs story.

DQ? no
Contact? Yes- nothing intentional, nothing major, a little bumping.
