Drug Cheats Lead World Relays Staff

Has ANYONE off this board, including the brojos who mentioned the subject on their home page, Catullus contacted USATF about this? Anyone?

These guys did not receive a lifetime ban and they both clearly have the credentials for the job. USATF could probably get themselves in more trouble by selecting lesser qualified coaches.

They just laugh at these calls. What they know at the USATF office is that there is no way to hold anybody accountable. The powers to be will do what they want , when they want. Given the folly's over the last few months nothing has happened no one fired , no logical excuse.

They did not receive a lifetime ON COMPETING AS ATHLETES. They are not competing as athletes. They are going a USATF coaches for Team USA.

The USATF Code of Conduct says that a coach may "Not have been found by the relevant authorities to have committed an anti‐doping rule violation or to have enabled an athlete to commit an anti‐doping rule violation;" and "Never have been sanctioned for an anti‐doping rule violation by the U.S.

Anti‐Doping Agency, World Anti‐Doping Agency, International Olympic Committee, International Association of Athletics Federations or any other governing body."

That IS a lifetime ban on people who want to be USATF coaches who committed a doping violation.

USATF has no shame. Drug cheats have no place in the coaching ranks of our national teams.

I am sure Dennis MILLER used drugs, beer and has had a lot of sex. The guy was on SNL and then toured as a comic. Had to be getting plenty of drugs and sex.

Between this, the charades at the 2013 USATF outdoor meet, the indoor debacle and tons of other things, it is obvious that track is on a rapid decline.

I think this deserves some mainstream media coverage. Somebody that the USATF can't just ignore like they ignore athletes. Maybe the woman from the WSJ who wrote up the ABQ debacle will be interested.

I was a long time USATF administrator. When I spoke out against drug use and other injustice in the organization, I wasn't asked to Leave.mI was thrown out. It does no good unless the athletes themselves speak out, and that, for good reason, will never happen.
